Copper and brass butterfly hanging ornamental decoration.
This delicate piece is a perfect memorial keepsake. Butterflies have been a great source of comfort to my family and I since the death of my brother John and then after when my mam and dad passed also. Earlier this year I made a larger butterfly piece for their graveside which then led me to create more work inspired by butterflies. There is a lot of intricate detail to enjoy from the hand pierced wing outlines to the hammered textures and the little heart soldered onto the scuffed finished back. While I will be creating more of this style no two pieces will be the same so this is a truly unique work of art.
It hangs from a printed white ribbon and is packaged in a small  recycled gift box.
Not suitable to hang outside and not suitable for children.
